Chairman Tuff,

Thank you for your effort to formalize the process for requesting and granting an excused absence.

I support delegating to you the CCREC’s right to excuse an absence that has been requested in writing before the third consecutive missed meeting, with the requirement that you notify us of any such request that you decline.

Of course, the CCREC retains its right, with the vote of the majority of members attending a meeting, to override to any decision you make about excusing absences.
